“I have worked with Dr. Kreis for 10 years in his capacity as a microbiologist. He has demonstrated exceptional knowledge and expertise in soil microbiology and applications to real farm situations. He took over management of one client's  fledgling compost operation, upgrading it to tight State of California standards and converting it to fungally-dominant production. With another client, he provided expert analysis on compost tea and foliar nutrient interactions, allowing the mixing of some materials with the compost tea for spraying and injection into irrigation systems. Of particular benefit with fungal compost is it seems to overcome the effects of high carbon to nitrogen materials. Classic theory states that high C:N materials will tie up nitrogen; we have never noticed that under his oversight. I highly recommend his expertise for application in diverse agricultural production systems.”
